When I was a little boy I used to watch my grandmother make bread. It seemed magical to me. She would throw together simple basic ingredients: flour, water, salt, and yeast, and a few hours later, out of the oven, came this wonderful smelling and delicious loaf. It always amazed me on how it all worked.
I want to share with you my love and appreciation of the wonderful food that comes from my home province. Newfoundland is rich with culture, music, and food. We can go on a journey and try some different things along the way. Come with me and bring your appetite.
